Description

Modern women lead complicated, busy lives wearing many hats. Or many earrings. Jewellery is a language which expresses our unique sense of style, which often changes as our taste and circumstances change. Different styles for different occasions. Interchangeable earring drops are the contemporary platform offering infinite possibility. Change your look as quickly and easily as your lipstick. Your choice is only limited by your imagination. These baroque pearl drop earrings are as individual as you are- no two pairs are the same.

Suspended from the most versatile of earrings, diamond hoops (sold separately), these baroque pearl drop earrings take seconds to slip onto the hoops. Individually hand crafted in 18ct white gold, these large, nostalgic baroque pearls have a beautiful iridescent lustre. They are a fresh, chic way to wear pearls.

Please note that some hoop earrings have backing plates which can obstruct the jump rings. The diamond hoops which are recommended for the interchangeable hoops can be found here.

Baroque Pearls

Baroque pearls are charming and increasingly prized for their irregular, organic shape and lustrous nacre. Perfect imperfection. Appreciating unconventional beauty. One of the pearl grading criteria is size, which is expressed in millimetres. This sublime pair makes quite the statement at 13mm.

There is a breadth of choice of with interchangeable drops, so you can really personalise your look. Our current range includes pear cut peridot drops in yellow gold, diamond and lavender spinel trilliants and the dramatic pear cut rubellite drops in black rhodium gold. Why not raid your jewellery box for unused pieces and re-purpose stones as interchangeable drops?

Please note that the diamond hoop earrings are sold separately.

Pearls are more vulnerable than most gem materials. They are an organic gem, and if not cared for properly, the surface can be permanently scratched or damaged. Avoid allowing perfume, hair spray or makeup to come into contact with pearls- they will cause irreparable damage and destroy the nacre. The best tip is to put on pearls last, and remove them first. We recommend storing them separately in jewellery boxes with separate compartments. Good examples are the Palermo case which has separate compartments and generous spaces for other jewellery. The smaller Caroline or Zoe cases are more compact and a perfect travel companion.
